Description

Super Black basalt is a volcanic stone of intense black, prized for its contemporary and minimalist aesthetic. Its flamed finish gives the surface a slightly rough texture, ideal for outdoor use thanks to its good grip, while maintaining a homogeneous and modern appearance.

Resistant to frost, thermal shock, and repeated foot traffic, this paving is perfect for terraces, pool surrounds, stairs, or driveways. Its deep black hue remains stable over time, with little maintenance.

Color variation

Mineral products are classified from 1 to 4 by variations in color, texture, and size to help you better anticipate their appearance.

Learn more about variations

COLOR: MARKED VARIATION (3/4)

A more pronounced mix of shades is visible, with strong contrasts between different pieces. Installation should be planned to harmoniously distribute variations and achieve a balanced result. We recommend planning for 10% to 15% extra material to select certain shades.

MARKED TEXTURE (3/4)

Perceptible reliefs between elements add character to the covering by creating a varied texture. For a harmonious result, it is advisable to properly distribute the pieces during installation. These materials, often resulting from mechanical manufacturing with some variation, have a slightly textured surface and edges. It is recommended to use slightly wider joints, between 5 mm and 10 mm depending on the stone, to ensure an optimal fit.

VARIABLE SIZE AND THICKNESS (3/4)

The differences between elements are more pronounced (size and thickness +/- 2 mm), which gives an artisanal and authentic effect. Installation requires adjustments.
