The authenticity of a true artisanal terracotta

This terracotta tile is made from solid natural clay, molded and then manually pressed into a frame, according to a traditional method.

Each piece is then slowly dried before firing at high temperature.
This process gives birth to a tile that is:

dense and durable
slightly irregular at the edges
naturally nuanced

Slight impressions, surface variations, and shade nuances are inherent to this type of manufacturing.
They do not constitute defects: they are the signature of a true artisanal terracotta.

A living material that develops a patina over time

Unlike imitation terracotta tiles, the color runs through the entire thickness of the tile. It is not a surface decoration.

COLOR: STRONG VARIATION (4/4)

MARKED TEXTURE (3/4)

Perceptible reliefs between elements add character to the cladding by creating a varied texture. For a harmonious result, it is advisable to distribute the pieces carefully during installation. These materials, often resulting from mechanical manufacturing with some variation, have a slightly textured surface and edges. It is recommended to use slightly wider joints, between 5 mm and 10 mm depending on the stone, to ensure optimal adjustment.

SIZE: STRONG VARIATIONS (4/4)

Each element is unique, with marked differences in size and thickness. This type of material is suitable for projects seeking an authentic and traditional effect. Installation with wider joints is recommended to compensate for discrepancies.
