The authenticity of a real terracotta tile

These square tiles are made of natural full-body terracotta, using a manufacturing process inspired by traditional methods.

Moulded from selected clay, they are slowly dried then fired at high temperatures to obtain a tile that is:

solid and durable
slightly irregular at its edges
rich in natural nuances

The slight variations in shade, texture, and surface are an integral part of the charm of terracotta. They attest to the authentic character of the material and contribute to the unique aesthetic of each floor.

A living material that evolves over time

Unlike imitation terracotta tiles, the color of these tiles is present throughout the entire thickness of the tile. It is not just a surface decoration.

COLOR: HIGH VARIATION (4/4)

Each piece shows significant color differences. Several shades can coexist in the same batch, making the final appearance unpredictable and unique. This type of variation enhances the authentic character of the project and requires methodical installation to evenly distribute the nuances across the entire surface.

MARKED TEXTURE (3/4)

Noticeable reliefs between elements add character to the cladding by creating a varied texture. For a harmonious result, it is advisable to distribute the pieces well during installation. These materials, often mechanically manufactured with some variation, have a slightly textured surface and edges. It is recommended to use slightly wider joints, between 5 mm and 10 mm depending on the stone, to ensure optimal fitting.

SIZE: HIGH VARIATIONS (4/4)

Each element is unique, with marked differences in size and thickness. This type of material is suitable for projects seeking an authentic and traditional effect. Installation with wider joints is recommended to compensate for variations.
