Description

The GALICIAN SLATE edging is a black slate. Initially renowned for its use in roofing, it is now making its way into outdoor landscaping.

Its sawn edges and regular cleavage give it an elegant and neat finish, thus distinguishing it from the Black Azul, which has a rougher finish.

This slate also has appreciable technical qualities:

No moss growth : ideal for staying clean, even without intensive maintenance.
Does not rust : unlike some iron-containing slates, it maintains its stable color over time.
Minimal maintenance : occasional cleaning is sufficient.

It is a reliable, aesthetic, and durable solution for all your edgings, flowerbed borders, or zone delimitations.

COLOR: MODERATE VARIATION (2/4)

Perceptible differences exist between elements, either due to the natural properties of the material or handmade manufacturing. The sample received may slightly differ from the final product. To ensure an installation that meets your expectations, it is advisable to order a slight surplus and distribute the shades according to your preferences.

MARKED TEXTURE (3/4)

The perceptible reliefs between the elements add character to the covering by creating a varied texture. For a harmonious result, it is advisable to distribute the pieces well during installation. These materials, often from mechanical manufacturing with some variation, have a slightly textured surface and edges. It is recommended to use slightly wider joints, between 5 mm and 10 mm depending on the stone, to ensure an optimal fit.

VARIABLE SIZE AND THICKNESS (3/4)

The differences between elements are more pronounced (size and thickness +/- 2 mm), which gives a handcrafted and authentic effect. Installation requires adjustments.
