Description

VOSGES SANDSTONE facing is a local natural stone, renowned for its pinkish hue and fine grain. Its split surface highlights the raw and authentic appearance of the sandstone, making it ideal for outdoor landscaping projects.

Its natural resistance to frost, weather, and the passage of time makes it a reliable material for outdoor use. It integrates perfectly into regional architecture or landscaping projects with a natural and warm aesthetic.

For optimal installation:

Allow for 15% additional material for installation with joints
Allow for 30% additional material over the actual surface area for dry-stone installation without joints

Color variation

Mineral products are classified by variations in color, texture, and size to help you better anticipate their appearance.

Learn more about variations

COLOR: SIGNIFICANT VARIATION (3/4)

The blend of shades is more pronounced, with marked contrasts between pieces. Installation should be planned to harmoniously distribute variations and achieve a balanced look. We recommend 10 to 15% extra material to select certain nuances.

IRREGULAR TEXTURE (4/4)

Differences in texture between pieces are noticeable. Depending on the product type, some surfaces may be smoother while others have a more pronounced relief. This effect creates an authentic and natural appearance. For harmonious visual balance, it is essential to distribute the elements well during installation, without prior sorting, to preserve the desired effect. Wide joints, greater than 1 cm, are necessary to compensate for irregularities and ensure stability.

SIZE: STRONG VARIATION (4/4)

Each element is unique, with significant variations in size and thickness. This material is ideal for an authentic and traditional look. Installation with wide joints is recommended to compensate for differences.
