Description

The massive SILVERSAND granite coping is a statement piece, designed to recapture the noble appearance of ancient granite works. With its generous thickness and hand-bush-hammered finish, it offers a unique texture and an authentic look reminiscent of historic copings, steps, and ashlar stones. Its natural light grey shades bring timeless elegance that integrates equally well into character renovations and high-end contemporary projects.

The manual bush-hammering is precisely what makes this coping so beautiful: each piece bears the marks of stone work, with its own textures, impacts, and nuances. This traditional craftsmanship gives the granite a depth and presence not found in a perfectly uniform industrial finish.

👉 Good to know before ordering: this is an intentionally artisanal and natural product. The stated dimensions and thicknesses are indicative measurements. The shaping aims to get as close as possible to the announced dimensions, but manual work and the nature of the stone can occasionally lead to variations of 1 to 2 cm, more or less, particularly in thickness.

⚠️ These variations are an integral part of the desired aesthetic and do not necessarily apply to the entire order. They contribute to the massive, ancient, and authentic appearance of this coping. If, on the other hand, you are looking for perfectly regular lines and a calibrated thickness, we also offer SILVERSAND granite with a flamed and calibrated finish, which is more contemporary and homogeneous.

COLOR: SIGNIFICANT VARIATION (3/4)

A more pronounced blend of shades is visible, with strong contrasts between different pieces. Installation should be planned in advance to distribute variations harmoniously and achieve a balanced result. We recommend planning for an additional 10 to 15% of material to allow for selection of certain shades.

IRREGULAR TEXTURE (4/4)

The differences in texture between pieces are pronounced. Depending on the product type, some surfaces may be smoother while others have a more prominent relief. This effect creates an authentic and natural look. For harmonious visual balance, it is essential to distribute the elements well during installation, without prior sorting, to preserve the desired effect. Wide joints, greater than 1 cm, are necessary to compensate for irregularities and ensure stability.

SIZE: STRONG VARIATIONS (4/4)

Each element is hand-shaped and hand-chiselled using traditional stone craftsmanship. Variations in dimensions and thickness may thus appear from one piece to another and intentionally contribute to the product's massive, antique, and authentic appearance.

Estimated delivery times: less than 30 kg: within 7 business days; pallet orders: generally within 2 to 3 business weeks.

For pallet deliveries, the carrier will contact you to arrange an appointment. The goods will be unloaded at ground level, at the closest point accessible to the truck, using a tail lift or a forklift depending on the weight of the order.

The delivery location must be accessible to a heavy goods vehicle and have a hard, flat, and clear unloading area.

Free click & collect is also available at our 7 stores.

Returns: You have 14 days to change your mind about unused and uninstalled products. Return costs are at your expense. Custom-made or customized products cannot be returned.

In case of damaged or non-compliant products, check the goods upon receipt, make specific reservations with the carrier, and contact us within 48 business hours.
