Jointing Mortar - G9s GREY ARDEX

A flexible grout for joints from 2 to 15 mm.

The ARDEX G9S FLEX 2-15 is a cement-based grout designed to produce strong, durable joints on tiles and stone coverings. Flexible, water-repellent and highly deformable, it is particularly suitable for surfaces subject to thermal variations.

Its good adhesion to the edges of the tiles helps limit stresses in the coverings. Its fast setting also allows a quick return to service of the grouted surfaces.

For which coverings?

The ARDEX G9S FLEX 2-15 is suitable for grouting many coverings:

• Fine porcelain stoneware and porcelain stoneware
• Glazed wall tiles
• Natural stone and concrete blocks that are not sensitive to moisture
• Porcelain and ceramic mosaics
• Facing bricks and extruded sandstone tiles
• Glass pavers

It is particularly suitable for balconies, terraces and porcelain stoneware coverings.

A solution suited to surfaces subject to thermal variations

Thanks to its high deformability and good adhesion, the ARDEX G9S FLEX 2-15 helps reduce the stresses exerted on joints and coverings during temperature variations. It is therefore particularly well suited to terraces, balconies and surfaces fitted with underfloor heating.

Application

The mortar is mixed with water to obtain a supple, creamy paste that is easy to apply. It can be applied using a grout float or a rubber grout squeegee.

At a temperature of +20 °C, the working time is approximately 30 minutes. The surface can be walked on after approximately 90 minutes.

Mixing ratio

• 12.5 kg of powder for approximately 2.4 litres of water

Packaging and storage

Available in a 12.5 kg bag. Store in a dry place, for up to approximately 12 months in its original sealed packaging.

Important: for natural stones sensitive to moisture, a preliminary grouting test is recommended to check that there is no discolouration. Cement-based grouts are not acid-resistant: prefer neutral or slightly alkaline cleaners for maintenance.
