Comparison of recommended adhesives

COLLIMIX PRO V300 is an improved C2-E type adhesive mortar for laying tiles and natural stone on floors, both indoors and outdoors. Its formulation, based on special cements and technical additives, provides high adhesion, good long-term performance, and ease of application suitable for common construction sites.

This product is designed for new construction and renovation applications, on substrates compliant with current standards (concrete, cement screed, old tiling, prepared substrates with primer).

COLLIMIX PRO V300 is suitable for laying ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, and calibrated natural stones in standard formats. It is suitable for standard format natural stone paving when the elements have a regular underside and the application conditions are met.

The use of this adhesive requires a flat, clean, and stable substrate. For natural stone or intermediate formats, double spreading is recommended to ensure optimal adhesive transfer and avoid any hollow areas.

This product is not intended for technical applications requiring high deformability, particularly large formats, substrates subject to significant variations, or underfloor heating. In these cases, the use of a deformable adhesive (S1 type) is required.

Standard building substrates compliant with DTU standards and prepared according to current regulations (concrete, cement screed, old tiling, primed substrates).

Limitations of use

• Not suitable for large formats exceeding 60 cm
• Not suitable for deformable or unstable substrates
• Not suitable for underfloor heating
• Not suitable for wooden substrates
• Not suitable for significant thickness compensation
• Not intended for laying uncalibrated massive stones

Application

The substrate must comply with the requirements of current DTU standards: clean, sound, dry, and flat.
The adhesive is applied with a trowel and then leveled with a comb adapted to the size of the elements.

For natural stones and intermediate formats, double spreading is recommended.
Tiles are placed within the open time, applying sufficient pressure to ensure adhesive transfer.

Positioning

COLLIMIX PRO V300 is a standard adhesive for common installations. It covers most tiling and natural stone applications. For more technical configurations (large formats, high mechanical or thermal stress, paving with significant thickness variations), an adapted adhesive should be used.
