Dress your interior walls with natural French stone cladding, quarried in Bourgogne–Franche-Comté. Laid in an opus incertum pattern, the stone creates a mineral décor with authentic texture, ideal for a living room wall, staircase, entrance, or accent wall behind a stove.

Its natural shades range from light beige to golden, passing through cream tones, typical of Burgundian limestone. Each piece has its own variations, offering a warm, lively, and timeless finish.

Made in our workshop in Burgundy, this cladding comes directly from our processing expertise. This complete control of the production chain allows us to enhance local materials while offering an aesthetic solution at a controlled price.

Two types of opus incertum, two different finishes

1. Selected large slabs – A premium finish

Unlike traditional opus incertum composed of small pieces, this cladding is offered in large pieces of natural stone, which you can break down directly on site according to your needs.

You are thus free to create your opus by prioritizing large pieces, for a more elegant, less fragmented, and more natural finish.

• Piece dimensions: approximately 80 to 120 × 60 to 90 cm.
• Easy breaking: a sharp strike with a hammer is generally enough to divide the opus.
• Custom installation: adapt the shapes and dimensions to your surface.
• Material optimization: the resulting pieces can be reused for adjustments and cuts.
• Premium finish: large irregular pieces for an authentic and unique result.

👉 the slabs can be delivered whole or already broken into several usable pieces. The delivery of each piece in one piece is not guaranteed.

2. Sawing offcuts – A rustic and economical finish

This natural stone comes from the repurposing of manufacturing offcuts from cladding sawing. They feature the same type of stone, but more varied shapes and dimensions.

• Smaller pieces: generally 6 to 12 pieces per m².
• Irregular shapes: a mix of broken edges, sawn edges, and sometimes right angles.
• Various formats: some pieces can be almost rectangular.
• More fragmented and rustic finish, with more visible joints.
• More affordable price: an economical solution that enhances natural materials.

For an optimal installation:

• Allow 15% extra material for installation with joints
• Allow 30% extra material compared to the actual surface for dry stone installation without joints
