Description

The PHYLLITE facing is a wall covering that captivates with its deep dark grey hues, subtly enhanced with metallic reflections. This unique natural stone offers a slightly ribbed texture, bringing relief and timeless elegance to your walls.

Part of the "la LINEA" range, this rectangular facing is composed of strips of different heights, delivered loose (not glued to mesh), with sawn edges for a clean and structured finish. Its refined design is suitable for both interior spaces and exterior facades, adding a contemporary and mineral touch to any type of architecture.

Phyllite is a natural rock similar to slate, geologically located between slate and quartzite. It stands out for its high compactness and robustness, offering an excellent alternative for demanding arrangements.

Highly resistant to frost and thermal shocks, it is impervious to moisture and soiling, and presents no risk of rust – unlike some slates richer in iron.

Thanks to its regular finish and precise cleavage, phyllite ensures a neat installation while maintaining a mineral and lively appearance. Whether for edgings, steps, or coping, it combines durability, aesthetics, and ease of maintenance.

COLOR: SIGNIFICANT VARIATION (3/4)

A more pronounced mix of shades is visible, with strong contrasts between the different pieces. Installation should be planned in advance to harmoniously distribute the variations and achieve a balanced result. We recommend planning for an additional 10 to 15% of material to allow for selection of certain shades.

SIGNIFICANT TEXTURE (3/4)

Perceptible reliefs between the elements add character to the cladding by creating a varied texture. For a harmonious finish, it is advisable to distribute the pieces carefully during installation. These materials, often produced mechanically with some variation, feature a slightly textured surface and edges. It is recommended to use slightly wider joints, between 5 mm and 10 mm depending on the stone, to ensure optimal fitting.

VARIABLE SIZE AND THICKNESS (3/4)

The differences between the elements are more pronounced (size and thickness +/- 2 mm), which gives an artisanal and authentic effect. Installation requires adjustments.

Estimated delivery times: less than 30 kg: within 7 business days; pallet orders: generally within 2 to 3 business weeks.

For pallet deliveries, the carrier will contact you to arrange an appointment. The goods will be unloaded at ground level, at the closest point accessible to the truck, using a tail lift or a forklift depending on the weight of the order.

The delivery location must be accessible to a heavy goods vehicle and have a hard, flat, and clear unloading area.

Free click & collect is also available at our 7 stores.

Returns: You have 14 days to change your mind about unused and uninstalled products. Return costs are at your expense. Custom-made or customized products cannot be returned.

In case of damaged or non-compliant products, check the goods upon receipt, make specific reservations with the carrier, and contact us within 48 business hours.
