Limestone corner chain – natural stone corner facing

The limestone corner chain is an architectural element that is both aesthetic and technical, used to highlight and structure the corners of a building. It enhances facades while recalling traditional masonry techniques used in ancient architecture.

In traditional construction, we often speak of quoins or quoining: an alternating arrangement of stones that visually reinforces the corners of walls and highlights the lines of the building.

This version in natural stone facing makes it possible to reproduce this architectural effect both in renovation and new construction, without using massive blocks.

The elements are made from a single piece of stone, cut into an angled shape (L-format).
The inside of the piece is hollowed out at the back, which allows it to be easily installed as facing while maintaining the appearance of a real massive corner block.

This design avoids the visual effect of two assembled slabs and faithfully reproduces the appearance of traditional massive stone corner chains used in ancient architecture.

The result offers a much more authentic and qualitative finish, with a perfectly continuous corner.

Natural stone extracted in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, shaped in our workshops in France.

Each piece is made from our local limestone quarries, sourced from deposits located in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The elements are then cut and aged in our own workshops, to obtain an authentic, slightly patinated finish, inspired by traditional buildings.

Thanks to its natural shades ranging from beige to cream, sometimes subtly nuanced, this corner chain integrates well into ancient, regional or contemporary architecture.

It can be used:

• or to visually structure an exterior or interior wall.
