A paving made of natural French stone, extracted in Bourgogne–Franche-Comté and laid in opus incertum for a free, authentic, and timeless mineral look.
The natural shades range from beige to golden, with cream tones, coming from different limestone stones in the region.

This paving comes directly from our manufacturing workshop in Burgundy, where the material is transformed and enhanced to offer a natural mineral solution at a controlled price.

This product is offered in 2 ways of producing the stones, which directly influences its price, as well as the appearance of the pieces and the finished floor. In both cases, it is the same stone, with the same technical qualities:

Two types of opus incertum, two different looks

1. Selected large slabs – A premium look

Unlike traditional opus incertum made of small pieces, this paving is offered in large pieces of natural stone, which you can break directly on site according to your needs.

You are thus free to compose your opus by prioritizing large pieces, for a more elegant, less fragmented, and more natural look.

• Piece dimensions: approximately 80 to 120 × 60 to 90 cm.
• Easy breaking: a sharp blow from a sledgehammer is generally enough to divide the slabs.
• Custom installation: adapt the shapes and dimensions to your surface.
• Material optimization: the pieces obtained can be reused for adjustments and cuts.
• Premium look: large irregular pieces for an authentic and unique result.

👉 the slabs can be delivered whole or already broken into several usable pieces. The delivery of each piece in one piece is not guaranteed.

2. Sawing offcuts – A rustic and economical look

These natural stones come from the repurposing of manufacturing offcuts from the sawing of paving. They feature the same type of stone, but more varied shapes and dimensions.

• Smaller pieces: generally 6 to 12 pieces per m².
• Irregular shapes: a mix of broken edges, sawn edges, and sometimes right angles.
• Varied formats: some pieces can be almost rectangular.
• More fragmented and rustic look, with more visible joints.
• More affordable price: an economical solution that enhances the natural material.
