White CARRARA Marble

The white Carrara marble is a natural stone originating from the region of Carrare, or Carrara in Italian, located in Tuscany. Recognizable by its white to
light grey background crossed by grey veins, Carrara marble has a natural character that makes each slab and each product unique. The color, veining and shades can therefore vary from one stone to another. Highly valued for stoneworking and interior design, white Carrara marble can be used as floor covering, wall covering or for creating decorative elements. It therefore finds its place in a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room or various rooms of the house.

The white Carrara marble is mainly recognised by its light background streaked with veins that are generally grey. Originating from Carrara in Italy, this marble has natural variations in colour and veining. Each stone is therefore different, which gives a floor, a wall or a marble product its unique character.

However, there are many other marbles whose colour, background and veins are very different. The Noir Marquina, for example, is characterised by its dark tone contrasting strongly with the white Carrara marble.

The price of white Carrara marble depends on several factors. The type of product, the dimensions, the thickness, the selection of the stone, its finish as well as the marble work can notably make the price vary. Paving intended to create a floor covering therefore does not necessarily have the same price as a crafted item such as a natural stone washbasin.
